Home Field: Danville Stadium (est. 1946)
Players that play at Danville Stadium play in an atmosphere virtually unchanged since the game began. Built in 1946 as part of Branch Rickey's massive Brooklyn Dodger farm system, the Stadium's rostered alumni include more than 75 major league players and coaches.
In 1992, Universal Studio's The Babe, starring John Goodman and Kelley McGillis, was filmed at the Stadium. It can be seen as Forbes Field, Fenway Park, and in black/white news footage. It's selection came after a nation-wide search for a ballpark whose authenticity remained intact and condition maintained.
The Stadium's seating capacity is 5,000 with spacious parking available. Dimensions are 407' to center and 330 down the lines. Sno Dog Concessions, famous for their Tropical Ice and authentic Chicago Style Hotdogs, provide excellent refreshments to fans
